Leave No Child Behind
Under the Leave No Child Behind Initiative, the foundation raises resources and use it to help provide the basic needs of school going children in rural communities. The initiative aims at making children show up in school feeling comfortable by providing them with basic stuff like school uniforms, under wears, shoes, sanitary materials, pens, pencils, mathematical sets, writing and story books, as well as other personal learning materials. The target is to provide at least 50,000 children across the country with such basic personal stuff over the next five years. Joseph Opoku Gakpo has pledged to fund this initiative with 200,000 cedis of personal resources over the next five years and is challenging his friends and partners to match it with at least four times his investment to raise enough money to cover the targeted number.
