The world is currently on the verge of peril as a result of the negative impact of climate change caused by increasing destruction of forests, pollution and gross disrespect for the our planet. This initiative aims to train children and young minds to understand that climate change is real, and encourage them to play their individual roles in helping conserve the environment. Under this initiative, school children will be encouraged to plant trees and nurture them till they grow so that in future, they can call these trees their own. This initiative will encourage young minds to “gift the earth’ at least one tree in their childhood days. For every tree that a child in rural Ghana plants, friends of Joseph Opoku Gakpo are willing to match it up with the growing of another tree in urban Ghana as a way to help make the world a better place.
