On Friday 19th April 2019, the Opoku Gakpo Foundation organized a get together for children at Kwesimayah in the Kade Constituency of the Eastern Region.
Joseph Opoku Gakpo and friends conveyed biscuits, toffees, drinks, chips and other consumables, as well as toys, dresses and footwears to children in the deprived community.
Hundreds of children as well as the elderly stepped out to meet team and took away their goodies to celebrate Easter on the Good Friday
Assembly member for the area Joseph Odoi Paddy thanked the team from the Opoku Gakpo Foundation for the gifts for the children.
He lamented the poor nature of the road and widespread poverty which he hoped various stakeholders will make the conscious effort to help deal with.
